BedSlide BedBin Upper Tray

This upper BedBin comes in two sizes: 16”x 48” (40.6 x 121.9 cm) and 16”x58” (40.6 x 147.3 cm). The two versions are virtually the same, aside from the larger one being priced slightly higher.

Potential Downsides of the BedSlide 1000 Classic

While this product gives you plenty to rave about, it also has its share of drawbacks.

It Doesn’t Hold As Much Weight As Other Truck Bed Slides

Although 1000 pounds (453.6 kg) is a hefty load, many commercial users may need to go all the way up to twice that, or even more. Even if you’re only planning to go slightly over the weight limit, you probably shouldn’t test your luck. When tested to its limits, the BedSlide 1000 Classic gave signs of strain at full capacity, including popping and breaking plastic sounds. At 1075 pounds (487.6 kg), it had a complete failure.

Since the warranty doesn’t cover any damage due to loading your vehicle past the weight capacity, you don’t want to risk piling it up too much. You’ll also want to try to evenly distribute the weight when you’re getting close to the limit, per the manufacturer’s suggestion.

Fortunately, if the weight limit is the only aspect of this product that doesn’t fit your needs, you can opt for the BedSlide 2000 Classic. It offers all of the same benefits as this one, plus it holds up to 2000 pounds (907.2 kg). It does come with the tradeoff of a higher price tag, but it’s still a good price compared to other slides with its weight grade.

It Only Extends to 75%

Whereas many truck bed slides may be able to pull out to 100% of their length, this one only gives you access to ¾ of your truck bed. While this extension is probably sufficient for most users, it may make it harder to reach some of your stuff farther toward the back of the bed.
